Tram in Bad Schandau

Bad Schandau is a small spa town along the river Elbe.

A small cuty tram called Kirnitzschtalbahn runs there (metre guage) from the town up to the Lichtenhain Waterfall.

A part of tram was out of operation due to some troubles.

There is a cascade and people enjoy hiking around there.

From Dresden S-bahn runs there to Decin of Czech Republic.

Small ship connected from the station to the other side of the river.

Not only S-Bahn but also international trains both passenger and freight run through the line. We can see many trains.

Near Bad Schandau, there is a national park called Saxon Switzerland.

Huge storange rocks can be seen in Bastei area.

Many Germans enjoy hiking or cycling around there.

Bad Schandau is comfortable place to stay, of course enjoyable location for railfans.

Banitis in Latvia

Why I love 60's music and Railways (especially narrow gauge or abandoned ...)

I love the things which people tend to forget.

60's music such as the Zombies and the Animals are slow and easy to listen.

Narrow gauge and abandoned railways often bring people nostalgic world.

Both of them remind people of memories which people lived more primitively than present.

For example, 'Banitis' is one of the most lovely narrow gauge railway.
The train runs between Gulbenes and Aluksnes in Latvia.

It went to Baltic sea in the past.
About Banitis (Japanese only)

Traveling there, I listened 60's music :D
